Then later on Bakugo’s balcony they finally admitted just the inkling of their feelings for each other and shared their first kiss.
And of course, they immediately got caught by Kirishima. And then Denki.
But they never got to actually talk about what comes next. For their relationship. For their future. For… everything.

Now Midoriya and Bakugo are the number four and five top heroes in Japan. Their relationship is also the worst kept secret in Japan. Thankfully Bakugo’s abrasive personality and Midoriya’s nerdy teacher status keeps the press at bay. The speculation is rampant and heavy, but nothing has ever been publicly confirmed. How does Midoriya balance being a teacher with being a pro hero? What trouble could this cause in their lives?

Summary
The class goes on a weekend holiday together as a last hurrah after graduation. The class is full of young adult-but still teen perversion and can’t help but make too many lewd jokes at each other’s expense. Bakugo and Midoriya quickly slip away for some alone time. They decide to try a new position for the first time. Midoriya counts Bakugo’s scars with reverent dedication.

A fluffy towel smacked Izuku in the face. Bakugo had thrown it at him and he laughed happily at the tease. He quickly patted himself down with it and draped it over his shoulders. Midoriya hurried after the taller blond, bare feet slapping on the stone walkway heading toward the cabin.
“Shit… no you won’t…” Shoto sighed and hung his head. He recognized this behavior. “I BLAME YOU MINETA! … I’m glad there are sofas in the common room.”
“I bet Midoriya knows how many scars Bakugo has…” Mineta grinned lewdly and rubbed his hands together.

And it’s finally quiet, in the hospital. Dark enough without the overhead lights that the entire wing feels calm and his body doesn’t twitch uncomfortably at the constant surveillance he’s under during the day. It’s quiet, and he’s alone.
Every day that he’s been out of surgery, that’s about the moment Izuku shows up.
He’s less and less unprepared for the sound of his door being opened at this hour, the mechanical click from the handle and the heavy, low squeak of the panel shifting slowly ajar. It’s been about a week, now. Even the first time, Katsuki had a hard time feeling the shock he tells himself he maybe should have.
Instead, like every other time, he feels relief.
