Summary
“You know I think lunch is becoming one of my favourite meals of the day.” Peter said as they started their meal.
“Yeah.” she responded but it came out more a question. Peter nodded again, the corners of his mouth turning upwards slightly before she asked, “How come?”
“Well with breakfast and dinner it's just a necessity, you know?” Peter started, his mashed potatoes suddenly piqueing his intrest. “Lunch though, it's gonna sound cheesy, don’t laugh, but it gives me a little hope. It reminds me of a certain someone, “ he looked back up at her, eyes sparkling, “and, more often than not, "I get to spend it with you.”
“I can’t believe you're saying this to me over ikea food.” she stammered, out all sarcasm lost as her heart warmed and a grin grew on her face.
“Em, I said don’t laugh!” but a chuckle escaped his own mouth, and then MJ was joining him and it was sweet music to his ears.
Or
MJ is having really bad day when Peter invites her to join his Ikea trip. After previously seeing the state of his apartment MJ has no choice but to join him and her day brightens up a lot more than she could've expected.

Summary
Ned knew it was killing Peter that MJ couldn’t remember anything. MJ had explained their conversation to him, and he couldn’t fault her for not loving Peter back. She didn’t know him.
Still a probable bummer to hear though, Ned figured. But they seemed fine in their cozy living room, so he decides to take the small wins where he can get them.
(Ned Leeds also decides to make it his personal mission to give Peter Parker an actual life. Whether he wants to take it or not).

On one hand, she loved seeing Ned happy. Her friend had been over the moon when Spider-Man visited the first time, building legos and talking about their favorite nerd movies.
On the other hand, their relationship had been kind of awkward since she read the letter two months ago.
On the other, OTHER hand…he was kind of cute, and she couldn’t help but notice every time he stared at her, trying to be sneaky.
