“I'm covering for Robby,” Jack shrugs, looking at her evenly. He makes a point to keep his face blank.
“Is he out sick?” Noelle’s brows furrow.

“Nope,” Jack says, popping the ‘pe’ as hard as he can. “It’s his boyfriend’s birthday today.”

When Dennis looked up, he let out a small gasp, a dark figure making the hair on the back of his neck bristle slightly, heart thrumming in his chest for a moment or two, before it calmed down when he realised who was waiting for him.
“I’m off shift now, Stranger.” Dennis called, watching curiously as the figure stepped closer, into the dim light.
“I know.” He replied, voice low, eyes flicking up and down the younger man’s body. “Wanted to see you,”

Dennis is very aware that a certain customer of his has become a little...obsessive, but he has no intention of putting an end to any of it any time soon. Why would he, when he loved it so much?
