Lillian and Lex hated Lena and Kara’s relationship and hated Kara. They weren’t very fond of kryptonians or any aliens for that matter. And Lena didn’t really have a great relationship with them anyways. So she quickly was taken in by Kara’s family and they always made her feel loved. They had been experimenting on having biological children using the kryptonian birthing matrix. It worked and they had their baby girl when they were in their last year in college. The little family they had created was happy... until Kara and their child was forced to leave earth and go back to Argo. Its been seventeen years since that event took place... and now she's back.
