Summary
“Buck, Theo calls for his mom because that’s what little kids do, but he knows you’ll come if he calls, evidenced by the fact he keeps doing it. Doesn’t he go back to sleep when he sees you’re there?” Buck nods. “See? He trusts you. You don’t need to keep yourself awake half the night watching bad tv shows.”
At that, Buck physically recoils. “Whoa, Tidying up with Marie Kondo isn’t bad tv! She’s a visionary! You’d know if you’d watched it like I told you to,” he grumbles.
“Buck–”
“Please, Eddie? I’ll help!”
“Jesus…” he shakes his head, taking a black marker from one of the plastic bins and writing DONATE on the freshly taped box.
“Yes!” Buck celebrates, rounding the couch toward the front door. “I’m gonna get the rest of the stuff from the car and then I’ll explain the system!”
And that is how Eddie now finds himself sitting on his bed listening to Buck explain the five steps of letting things go. Apparently at some point he’d have to thank whatever trash he decided to toss? Good grief.
Or: Buck decides to KonMari the Diaz house, Eddie digs up memories, and turns his life upside down in the process.

Summary
The realization struck him sometime after three o'clock on a Wednesday, just as he was in the middle of tidying his desk at Starfleet HQ.
Maybe, for anyone else, it wouldn't have come as quite so much of a surprise, but Admiral James T. Kirk, former starship captain and five-time winner of the Federation Bugle’s Most Eligible Bachelor award (some thirty-five years ago, at least), was much-versed in the skills of repression and denial, and when the revelation hit, it hit him hard: butterflies, flushed cheeks, shaking hands — the whole shebang — and no matter how he tried to phrase it to himself, the words didn't make any more sense than they did from the get-go.
He was in love with Spock. He was in love with Spock. He was in love with Spock.
Absolute nonsense.

Summary
In the Prime and Mirror universes, Spock risks life and limb to rescue his captain, who is being held captive deep underground. These two versions of Spock go on parallel journeys, never intersecting, but each in their own way demonstrating the love between Kirk and Spock as a universal constant that transcends the many points of divergence between their respective realities.
Please note that the Mirror Universe version of this story contains graphic depictions of violence and powerplay which may be disturbing to some readers. If this is not your cup of tea, you can skip the first three chapters and go straight to the Prime Universe version, which is far fluffier and tamer.
Written for the Spirk in a Cave event and gifted to jelliedlimes because this was originally inspired by their prompt about “hiding injuries in the mirror universe” aka “a horse that doesn’t want to be put down.”
It started there, but then I wrote the same story in the prime universe and paired them together because I’m extra like that.

Summary
The unexpected sound of a door opening behind him, though quiet, startles him out of it. He jumps, eyes flying open, and turns around to see who’s entered. It’s Ted. Of course it’s Ted. It’ll always be Ted, Trent thinks as they make eye contact.
Ted’s got his green backpack on, holding Keeley’s pink gift bag in one hand. The sight of him like that — packed and ready to depart — makes the hollow feeling claw at Trent’s ribcage. Sharp nails and a fearsome strength. For a moment, they simply look at one another across the press room.
“Hey, Sport,” Ted says eventually. And his tone is the softest it's been since he broke the Kansas news a week prior.
Trent grips the side of his manuscript, tight. “Hello, Ted,” he replies.
