Summary
Idia has reached his nineteenth birthday, and now he is more determined than ever that, by his twentieth birthday, he must get the hell out of that mansion where he suffers constant abuse from his supposed family, no matter how much it hurts to leave the home where he grew up.
Orphaned and without a single penny to his name (other than his life savings), he must carefully plan his future this year.
His friends, those little men with mouse ears and tails, seeing him so stressed and busy this past year, decide that, as a twentieth birthday present, they will help him attend the royal ball that will be held in honor of the prince's birthday so that he can have fun and relax. (And perhaps run into that boy he has been seeing these past few months.)
Of course, they didn't ask Idia if he wanted to go to that ball where all the nobility will be present, but details.

Summary
The ruined and devastated Idia Shroud, after losing his family, his job, and even his inheritance, ended up getting involved in an unstoppable live-action horror game, filled with endless monsters and players with murderous intentions.
At first, everyone thought he was just a reclusive otaku with poor social skills and bad luck—unlucky enough to trigger the God-Level Wandering NPC in every game. Later, they realized that it was this game that welcomed its god with victory and a laurel wreath that read: “Welcome home.”
