Adolin Kholin, son of a famous general, is on the run from scandal in London. He spirits himself and his brother away to the newly acquired Radiant Park in Hearthstone, ready to enjoy the peace of the countryside and finally live a life outside of his father's influence.
They're an unlikely pair, but the universe seems to think otherwise, and despite all the vast pastures and country paths in Hearthstone, they can't stop meeting.
A.K.A, local Regency fantasy author is tired of writing a serious novel and wants to take a break from extreme historical accuracy and obsessive research to write something lighthearted about their favorite ship, inspired by dear Aunt Jane. For once in their life, historical accuracy takes a back seat, and Kadolin takes the wheel.
