“What the fuck was that Dick?” Dick shifted slightly at the question, eyes flicking to the side in avoidance.

“It was nothing Jason, don’t worry about.”

“Are you fucking kidding me? What the hell are you talking about Dick, she hit you.” Jason knew he was being too harsh. In the back of his mind Bruce's training echoed dully reminding him that abuse victims didn’t respond well to aggression and would avoid direct questions.

But this wasn’t a victim. He reasoned with himself. This was Dick.

    Summary

Tim finds a list in one of Dick's book:

    - Stop blaming yourself
    - Identify triggers for flashbacks and dreams (jasmine, rain, sleeping on my back)
    - Find calming strategies that work for you (counting breaths, identifying things in the present, running)
    - Stop dissociating (Tim will feel insecure if you zone out again in the middle of his baby-detective talks)
    - Stop isolating yourself
    - Stop feeling guilty about everything (everyone is alive, everyone is happy. You’re not poisonous.)
    - Take care of your body (eat, dammit. Alfred will kill you)
    - Tell someone

    Summary

    Again.
    And again.
    And again.
Night after night, he chokes down his last breath, cradled in the trembling arms of his brother. Morning after morning, he wakes up to the sound of his alarm, gasping a new breath, knowing he was walking into his death one more time.

    ---

Dick Grayson is stuck in a time loop of the night he dies. Given the alternatives, he's not willing to change the ending.

“Jay?” Dick mumbled, clearly confused. “What’re you doin’ here?”

“This is my safehouse, dumbass.” Shit.

Dick blinked. “Yeah, but…” he furrowed his brow. “Didn’ think you’d be here….” He continued blinking at Jason, but made no further moves to enter the apartment.

Jason’s mind was running through scenarios. Drunk? High? Drugged? Some sort of mental breakdown? And why had the golden boy come here?
