Summary
Stiles’ brow furrowed. “You will be King, and with that an heir is expected.”
Alpha Hale shrugged his shoulders. “We’re both young. Perhaps years together will offer companionship without intimacy. I don’t care if this kingdom crumbles in the wake of my death. I won my war, Stiles.”
Stiles’ heartbeat fluttered. “What is your name?”
The Alpha tipped his head, “Derek.”

Summary
Being at different colleges, miles apart, meant that they’d likely be too busy for each other. An unstoppable force tearing them apart. But he could hold on for now.
“Okay,” Stiles shakily answered, clearing his throat before continuing, “I’ll go with you after the game.”
The corners of Derek’s lips started to turn up into a small but hopeful smile.
It was different from the smile Derek did for football. It was always more personal—genuine—when he looked at Stiles.

Summary
Derek shouldn't be here. Classes like this aren't meant for people like him, even if the instructor is a friend of a friend. And even if he feels like someone might be watching him.
It doesn't matter. He's probably imagining it anyway. He is not in any danger and he doesn't need self-defense training.
Right?
