    It's been a year since the downfall of Shigaraki, and Midoriya is still dealing with problems. In an attempt to stop several turf wars, he takes Katsuki with him to an old ally's casino who might be able to help; Shindou Yo.

    It would be just their luck, that in the middle of negotiations, some of Shindou's own problems interrupt them, trapping them inside a casino suddenly hostile to their presence. Midoriya, Katsuki, Shindou, and the guards loyal to Shindou must work together in order to make it out alive.

    Katsuki would prefer if he could make it out alive and without Midoriya's fingers slipping into his pants, thank you very much.

    (Shindou is no help, as usual.)

    This was so beautiful. I cannot realistically put into words how I feel about this. The emotions, joy, embarrassment, anger at the characters actions and frustration at the miscommunications. Typically I do not write out what I feel about fics, but this one, it will never leave me. I finished this so quickly. Glued to the story and how the characters grew with each other. I am so satisfied by and so hungry for this world. It was breathtaking and all the good and bad ways. And I cannot help but equally yearn for more and more while also being happy with how it ended, because that’s how it should end. Like how the day fades into night, you wish for the bright light of the sun, but marvel in the sky at the stars when they come.

    There's a flash of gold and green. For one moment, he finds himself standing amongst the Guardians and others. And then darkness again. It feels like blinking; an extended period of nothingness that ends as abruptly as it begins. One moment there’s nothing, the next there’s light.

    A fist shot through the liquid, smashing into the glass. The glass shattered into fragmented pieces. The figure fell down on his knees, hands splayed, long hair obscured his face. He lifted his head and inhaled sharply.

    Vivid green eyes stared ahead at the group of masked men.

    He was alive.
    “Who…who are you?”
