“So,” she said. The Doctor was staring at her, studiously. “A million years?”

He looked confused for a moment. And then his eyebrows twitched in that flicker of understanding, and she noticed a slight sheepish expression on his face. He smiled, sort of. It wasn’t quite a smile, but it was getting there.

“Uh… yeah,” he said, drawing out the words slowly.

aka, the Doctor fills Donna in on some of the stuff that happened while they were apart. not all, but some.

Ned shrugs. "But be prepared, man. You can't save everyone."

At the exact same time, MJ and Peter say - "But you have to try."

    And both of them freeze.

Peter gives her a look out of the corner of his eye, soft and searching. His mouth quirks up into a half-smile.

Which is rude. She's still trying not to think about him. She's been trying not to think about the way he had cradled her face earlier when he saved her from the wreckage in Manhattan; like she was something precious.

    .

(In the year after she finds out he's been wiped from her memory, MJ tries and fails to not fall for Peter Parker again.)

    SPOILERS FOR BRAND NEW DAY

    GO SEE IT

    ——————

New York has mostly returned to normal, or as normal as it can be.

Now in terms of his friends… that’s still a work in progress. If he’s being honest, he’s grateful for what they’ve given him, as delicate as it is.

I needed some comfort for my three after seeing the movie so here’s some post movie hope.
