Summary
Alice McCloud spent every summer on her grandfathers farm, becoming close with the boys down on Marnie's ranch. 14 years later, Alice and Shane find themselves thrust back into each others orbits. But will they pick up where they left off, or has adult life left them irrevocably changed?
This was meant to be a filthy little thing, but I am a depressed individual and have found it very therapeutic to use this fic as an outlet for my thoughts on how people struggle with their trauma, and how depression can manifest itself. So, there's a lot of discussion of mental health in here, for Shane and for Alice. That's par for the course with Shane Fics of course, but it's a major theme in my own life so naturally I found it coming up again and again as I was writing this.
