Summary
Zelda does not trust Ganondorf after his show of fealty to King Rauru and Queen Sonia, so she decides to offer the Gerudo King some advice. After all, who best to make allies with than one trusted by the King himself? What should be a simple conversation quickly becomes something more as buttons are pressed and intentions are revealed. But at least it's only for one night.

Goosebumps prickle along Link’s skin. His senses go haywire, survival instincts triggered by an apparent threat. Something is watching him.
Leaping back, he whips out a bow and arrow and aims it at the river, where the source of that omnipresent gaze feels strongest. There is a faint plink as something dips below the water and out of sight. For a moment he thinks he sees a faint outline of something large and red beneath the waves, but it lasts only a second, gone the next.
Link’s eyes narrow.
It’s that creature again.

Something has followed Link home. It is a beast of unknown origin, appearance, and size, and for some reason it has taken an interest in him.
