You knelt in front of the chair, pulling Dabi forward to prop his forearm on his thigh. You leaned in close, pinching the skin together with one hand while the other steadied the gun. “Ready?”
Before he could respond, you squeezed the handle of the gun, shooting a staple into his skin with a sharp snapping sound. Dabi didn’t jump. Didn’t flinch. He just let out a soft puff of warm air that ghosted your cheek, gently moving the hair by your ear. You didn’t have to look up at him to know how close he was...You did the next staple and another warm gust of air danced across your cheek as he exhaled. You wondered what his scars would feel like against your lips.
