    Summary

Newly out of the closet Stede Bonnet is looking for love after a 20-year arranged marriage, but Ed Teach is a lone wolf who doesn't "do" romance.

So Ed and Stede are just friends! Really good friends! Best friends, even! And they're definitely not going to date. Well, not each other anyway - Stede’s actually going on lots of dates! How else is he going to find a boyfriend by Lucius’s impending wedding?

And Ed? He’s totally cool and supportive and not at all jealous.

Will Ed’s past heartbreak keep him from a Happy Ever After? Will Stede admit that no one compares to Ed? Will they find a sleeveless tux for Pete before it’s too late?

Find out in “Let It Once Be Me” - a romantic comedy by Writer Hardly Know Her.

There are so many conversations I want to see between Ed and Stede. Thanks to a post from @burymyvices, I’ve been thinking tonight about Stede discovering that Ed did not just “happen upon” that Spanish vessel but had in fact been following Stede for weeks. This is just a silly little drabble about that. Written hastily, not beta'd.

    Summary

Edward Teach is fed up with his job as a concert pianist. He’s over having to play the same classical pieces over and over again to polite applause. When he walks into The Lighthouse, a newly opened queer bar, and spots a grand piano in it, he figures he might have found something new and exciting, and he gladly takes the new job the bar owner, Stede Bonnet, offers him. Maybe this bar (and Stede) can be the way out of his slump?
