    Phantom knows three things:
    1. He’s in a city called Blüdhaven.
    2. He definitely isn’t a normal human.
    3. He doesn’t remember anything about his life.

    But Phantom has a plan. Well, less of a plan and more of a goal. Phantom is going to help people, get himself money, and hopefully figure out just who -and what- he is along the way.

    Now if only the annoyingly competent police officer hell-bent on putting him in the system and making sure he was safe at home would leave him alone, Phantom would be golden.

    In which the one-and-only Danny Phantom gets amnesia, a new city to protect, some other vigilante friends, and a slightly-overprotective father figure.

So here she is, trying to figure out how to use her vague memories of the show to survive until Aang’s return, while also attempting to (manipulate) guide her affection-starved little sister toward a redemption arc. Gotta take that silver sandwich bite!

    Shang Qinghua let out a long, shaky breath. “Right. Okay. Sure. No problem. I can work with that. That’s fine.” He shifted the baby in his arms, looking down at the tiny, squirming face, the damp lashes clinging together. “You hear that? As long as you make it to the sect, everything’s good. Easy quest conditions. No trauma required.”

    Luo Binghe made a faint snuffling sound, unimpressed.

    Shang Qinghua’s smile collapsed almost instantly. “Oh, gods, what am I saying?” He scrubbed a hand over his face, leaving another smear of drying blood. “I’m not qualified for this! I can barely keep myself alive half the time! You need—uh—you need a responsible, kindhearted woman from a humble background with good soup-making skills, not a chronically overworked peak lord-slash-spy!”

    The baby responded by making a small, gurgling noise that sounded alarmingly like agreement.

    “Don’t sass me,” Shang Qinghua muttered. “You’re, like, twelve minutes old.”

    Expression softening, Mu Qingfang says, “How can I be? Don’t I have Yuan-er to keep me company?”

    “So you were lonely before?” Mu Yuan presses.

    Baba’s mouth tightens. “No more so than anyone, I suppose.” Mu Qingfang reaches out, and lifts Mu Yuan to sit on his leg. “What’s this really about, Yuan-er?”
