    On the living room rug, in front of Minho, Jisung kneels. Legs tucked under butt, hands above thighs, posture upright. He's not the type to do this often, at least not spontaneously. When he kneels, it is because he has been told or forced to do so.

    "Hit me," he begs, his eyelids fluttering slightly with each slow blink. Jisung is numb, lost, and damn tired. He wants something that makes him feel that he is still a person. That he still has feelings inside his body besides sadness and mortal anguish. "Hit me, Minho. Please."
