Summary
James’ mouth was hanging open as if he couldn’t believe what he was seeing. Harry took a step towards them, to comfort? He didn’t know, but as soon as he made the smallest space between himself and the door, James was off.
He took off in a frantic sprint. Harry felt the whoosh of air as he was passed by his pyjama clad father who was still wearing those stupid antlers on his head, and it brought a happy smile to Harry’s face. He knew that James and Remus had been friends in school, but seeing and feeling the joy of their reunion made Harry’s heartbeat speed up.

James smirked as he made eye contact with the red eyes that lit up Voldemort's face. "Too late, Tom," he said, before wordlessly summoning the cup toward them. The last thing James saw was the flash of green coming from Voldemort's wand before he felt the familiar pull at his navel, and they were whisked away from the dark graveyard. Finally, they were safe.

Summary
After the parents of four children are killed in a car accident they are separated into pairs with the elder twins Leonardo and Raphael are adopted by Hamato Yoshi, whilst Donatello and Michelangelo are sent through the Foster care system.
They spend 10 years separated from each other with Raphael and Leonardo searching every inch for the younger siblings whilst Michelangelo and Donatello seem to only be fighting for a chance to get by.
Stuck in New York the pairs of siblings are closer than they seem until they come across some familiar faces they'd thought long gone but a proper reunion seems to be harder than they thought it could be.
