Holland felt like shit. Instead of being comforted by the loud, vibrant atmosphere of the bar, he was irritated. He chugs down the beer and slams it on the table. He's drinking heavily, hoping that it could make him forget about Healy.
It does the opposite,all he can think about is Healy.
