Summary
After the Chantry explosion in Kirkwall in 9:37 Dragon, there was nothing left for Eris Hawke and Fenris in the Free Marches. Hounded by templars and Chantry officials looking for answers, the couple fled to Ferelden where they hoped to begin a life well-removed from strife for their unborn daughter.
Passing the subsequent years in relative peace, the young Ariadna Hawke has begun to show signs of inheriting from both her parents the drive to protect those she loves.

She took the poster with a grin. “Hah! The only thing I should be wanted for is stealing Kirkwall’s most beautiful lady and most handsome commander for my crew.” She winked jauntily at Hawke and Cullen.
Cullen’s cheeks turned a charming shade of pink, and Hawke playfully fanned herself. “Why thank you, Captain,” Hawke purred. “Where are we headed next?”
Piper handed the poster to Varric, then lovingly wrapped her fists around the handles of the helm. “That’s the beauty of it, my friends,” she announced. “Any fucking place we like.”

Piper Lavellan eyed the handsome blond newcomer with interest. It wasn’t unusual for well-to-do white-collar types to come to the Hanged Man, but she hadn’t seen this particular guy before.
He placed one strong hand on the bar and nodded politely. “Excuse me. I’m looking for-”
“A blowjob?” Piper asked.
His cheeks instantly turned a deep, charming pink, and Piper grinned. “The shot, I mean,” she teased, and she held up a shotglass.
A nervous smile pulled at the corner of his scarred lip, and Piper laughed and extended her hand. “I’m Piper,” she said.
His bashful smile widened, and he took her outstretched hand. “I’m Cullen,” he said.
His handshake was strong and gentle at the same time, and Piper smiled at his still-flushed cheeks. Must be my lucky day, she thought.
