Summary
In the dying days of 1944, Bradley Bradshaw finds Lieutenant Jake Seresin in a hospital bed, immobile, angry, and marred by the scars of war.
As an unlikely friendship forms and the extent of Jake’s injuries begin to materialize, Bradley finds himself confronting two immutable truths—the cost of loneliness, and the price of hope.

Summary
Bradley Bradshaw is New York City’s most underpaid, overworked associate, working for the city's biggest workaholic. The only thing more painful than the combination of those things is his equally underpaid, overworked colleague, Jake Seresin, who drives him halfway insane on a regular basis.
That’s until Jake comes up with the world’s worst idea, and somehow, Bradley’s under-slept, over-caffeinated brain decides that he should help execute it.

Summary
It's not that Jake loves Rooster, because he doesn't. It's the knowledge that whatever Rooster sees when he looks at Jake, it's not something he wants to keep around. Jake should be used to it by now, the effect he has on people. He has a big mouth and an even bigger ego, things that most people can't handle once they realise there's no soft centre underneath. He's bitter right down to the bones, snarky and brash and a little too much for everyone.
Love would require a level of attachment that no one has ever held for Jake.

Summary
When Jake Seresin is peer pressured into taking a last minute vacation, he certainly doesn’t expect Bradley Bradshaw to tag along. He also doesn’t expect to discover that his hotel is a hotspot for newlyweds. Nothing, however, could be more unexpected than finding himself on a fake honeymoon with his coworker, who just so happens to be inconveniently attractive.

Bookmarker's Notes
Feels like a summer holiday because it IS a summer holiday (hangster version).
