Right, I seriously messed up when posting as I was being pricked leaky by mosquitoes (mossqueetoes, we have nnnnnnnn circling around the ear at night that magically disappear when you turn on the bedroom light, not the same species) and buzz-attacked by flies. They're loud. Like Slimer rushing around a chandelier.
But it was quite late and I now have a buzz-fly-flap-toe-attack lamp outside.

A play on the uselessness of a critter like Apophis and the dangers that followed.Wasn’t too happy with the ending; Sam and Daniel racing half-way across the galaxy to save Jack and Teal’c with the help of Jacob and the Wizard of Oz lol. Needed a bit more emotion between Jack and Sam, I mean when the burn failed I feared the worst – and so did Sam.

Skip-hopped through the series a little to find out what I didn’t want to find out, and rewrote teeny bits here and there. Not in perfect order, memories don’t work that way, they tumble and fall as needed, when needed, to make a decision.

And I don’t even like oatmeal ;-)Fluffus Maximus, I’ve used bits and pieces throughout some of my other fics, but wanted to do a little rewritten stand-alone as am now dealing with the Pepe Le Pew episodes and yellin’ loud enough for my neighbor to pop over with a couple beers asking if I was watching ice-hockey lol.

Special thank-you note for Lynskiren: I changed ‘test subjects’ to ‘guinea pigs’ after your fabulous line in ‘Pollen’ which had me laugh out loud. Thank you so much Lynskiren, am still laughing. I have to get the stoic Teal’c in here somehow.
I may pick up some lines here and there and please do let me know whom you are if you read and recognize, so I can thank you adequately for inspiration. Or delete. Whatever is your choice.
