It is no secret to the rest of the Gaang that Sokka and Zuko do not get along. Ever since the first time Toph introduced her old school friend to the group the pair have never managed to be civil in each others company for more than five minutes.
But, when Sokkas dad’s riding school needs an extra pair of hands and the friend that Aang recommended to Hakoda for help turns out to be Zuko, well, Sokka is none too pleased. What in the world does the guy even know about horses anyway?

Ever since Fire Lord Zuko had taken the throne, the Fire Nation had seemed to become a brand new nation.
No longer are people jumping at the chance to fight and burn in their anger. Instead, the people are choosing to burn with a different kind of passion; one fueled by care and love, no longer afraid to live their lives for themselves and not their nation.
A side effect of this new era of peace has been an upsurge of marriages and more public relationships.
It’s only natural that in this time of peace and love, the people want their Fire Lord to find love as well.
And thus, Operation: Get the Fire Lord a Boyfriend was born.
Or, 5 times the people of the Fire Nation tried to get Zuko and Sokka together, and 1 time they realized they already were.

Who the fuck knows? Certainly not him. He never presented, which is the biggest sore spot ever.
A secret trip to the Northern Water Tribe changes everything when Zuko finds out he has the power to influence what his designation will be. Sweet, now he can be the alpha he was supposed be.
What he doesn't know is that Sokka has been in love with him forever, but never thought they'd end up together, because well... they were both alphas. Now Sokka has the chance to have everything he's ever wanted and will stop at nothing to get it.
