    Ace grabs him by his cheeks and turns his face, surprised by the heat of Sabo’s face. Ace doesn’t know much, but he’s pretty sure none of them has been this hot before without being in the sun all day.

    “Hey, Sabo!” Ace all but yells, shaking Sabo by the shoulders.

    “What’s wrong?” Luffy yawns behind him, rubbing his eyes as he sits up.

    “Sabo’s still asleep,” Ace explains. “And he’s really warm.” Luffy shuffles up beside him to look at Sabo as well.

    “Huh,” says Luffy, putting his own hand against Sabo’s face. It’s very red, but also very white. “Sabo? Are you ok?” Ace shakes him one more time, and Sabo’s eyes finally open. They’re shiny, and he looks confused.
