The Narrator cleared their throat, “Now, forgive me for being so blunt, Stanley, but trust me when I say that you look like absolute shit.”
They had to be exaggerating. He was fine! He felt fine!
To prove it, Stanley went to take another step forward to the room with two doors, but he felt a splitting pain in his temple as–
“Stanley? STANLEY, ARE YOU ALRI–?”
His vision went black.

Summary
The day they'd fetch the pontoon engineers to build the bridge across the Rhine, you had a talk with the Russian infantry before they went out. It didn't go too well, to say the least. Though, rather than letting the topic die down, you decided another way to make ammends.
This would lead to both of you coming to a clean closure, although with an undead infection bump midway.
Or,
yes it's the same Russian infantry from uar and wtd LOL. You two talk a bunch, stuff happens, he gets infected, and then decent amounts of comfort happen. Huzzah!
