    Summary

There! Right there, a tall figure, the only one that’s standing still in this jumping, swaying crowd, the only one who doesn’t get jostled or bumped. Dark clothes, dark hair, those beady orange eyes.

Everything inside Daniel sings in recognition, and he starts forward, which is when Armand turns away, slipping in the direction of the exit, and fuck that!

Daniel lunges between the crush of bodies, reaches out, hooks his fingers in the back of Armand’s belt. Armand turns around, hair flying, wide-eyed, startled; Daniel isn’t buying any of it for a second.

“You said you did want me,” Daniel says over the roar and pulse of the stage; his fingers are still anchored behind that belt, but slipping, as Armand turns towards him.

    “Yes. Very much.”

He says it so sadly and so coolly at the same time. He’s doing that uber-composed thing, where he’s lacquered over with varnish and polish and glass. Vibrant and vivid and fucking fascinating but… untouchable. Unreachable. Unknown.

Or: 5 times Daniel couldn't catch Armand, post-turning, +1 (so many) time(s) he did.

    Summary

"Happy birthday!" Daniel croons, his grin hooking his mouth wide, eyes bright and glowing with pleasure between dark eyelashes.

He holds out a small packet, haphazardly wrapped in colourful paper; a hint of pink dusts his cheeks, his heartbeat quickened with excitement and nerves; he smells sweet with it.

Slowly, Armand takes the packet from him; it's light, and when he turns it over in his hands, it emits a quiet, gentle rattle.

"Okay, birthday tutorial: at this point, we usually say 'thank you'."

    Summary

It still didn’t feel real. Their father had died two weeks ago and it still didn’t feel real. Just like that her father was dead. Now, two weeks later, his family was left to pick up the pieces. An unfinished puzzle on a coffee table, a half read book on a counter. The last true remnants of Daniel Molloy. That, and the apartment they still had to clean out. Whats the worst they could find?

    Summary

Louis proposed a revisitation of the past, a re-do of that first fateful interview. Armand agreed, but soon found himself swept away in a revisitation of his own past.

By the time Daniel arrived at the penthouse, Armand had already made his decision. He would not let his boy go, this time.

    Summary

ISO: Carer to look after my father for 8 weeks this summer.
Dad is 71, early stage Parkinson’s disease, broke his hip 6 weeks ago. No signs of cognitive decline; mostly needs help with household tasks (cooking, light cleaning, laundry, grocery shopping), getting dressed, showering, changing cat litter/general cat care, getting to and from appointments.
Please know what you are getting into; Dad is physically more or less in good health but awful at accepting his limitations, unnecessarily mean, generally uncooperative, and largely nocturnal. Imagine yourself caring for a feral raccoon that is convinced it’s going to write another book, then subtract everything that is cute about raccoons.
$20/hour, roughly 4 hours a day. Must be able to pass a background check and lift 50 lbs. Patience of a saint not required but preferred.
