Summary
After half of the global population turned into anthros, in an event believed to be an act of god, society collapsed and all national borders reset. From the ashes, new countries and ideologies spread, reshaping the globe as we know it. This series follows the stories of citizens living in the authoritarian human nation of 'Niagara' and the neighbouring anthro-dominated dictatorship known as the 'Great Lakes Anthrostate' (GLA). After years of tense border disputes, a week long war initiated by the GLA brought Niagara to an unconditional surrender. Among the peace treaty conditions, one third of all males in Niagara are to be enrolled in the 'marriage draft'. At adulthood, these men are shipped to the GLA to be assigned a wife and assist in the GLA's unique demographic crisis.
