The duo had made two potions, one that was meant to make them float in the air for about a minute, and one that was meant to grant them clairvoyance. They both drank their potions and waited to see the effects.

Sitting on the floor, Ace held his face in his hands as he forced his nausea down. He wasn’t floating, that's for sure, which meant he had made the damned thing wrong. He was so consumed in his own thoughts he hadn’t realized Deuce had run off until he asked him a question and got silence as a response.
