She stood on the edge, looking down at the calm water below. All the noise in her head went silent. The stress, the guilt, the finish line she could never catch up to. It all vanished. For a moment she felt as light as the wind around her. She wished she could stay in this peace forever, under its spell.
But her wish was not granted as strong hands grabbed her arm and pulled her back to the world she wanted to escape from.

Then, he pressed on the pocket watch. In a second, Max was gone.
