One year. That’s exactly how long it had been since the show had finished. Now, Spencer and Diego were a couple.
Things worked so much better away from the stress, betrayal, strategies, and the temptation of a one-million-dollar prize. They definitely worked better this way. Spencer felt comfortable in his relationship with Diego. They visited each other, or arranged trips, and this time, Diego would be the one coming to the UK. Spencer was genuinely happy.
To top it all off, their first anniversary was coming up. Not to say it was the day after tomorrow. Everything had to go perfectly. Even though showing romantic affection was still a bit challenging for him, he would make an effort for Diego and for the love he felt. He knew Diego was the kind of man who loved romance, so despite it being slightly difficult for him, he would push through.

The program had ended, and it didn’t turn out the way Spencer had expected, but at least Jade had won. Better for someone he knew to win rather than a stranger. Like Benji—if that guy had won, it would have been humiliating. Anyway, he had become friends with Jade. Despite the issues they had, he managed to build a strong friendship during the show.
And that guy, Diego. Yeah.
What had happened with that? They had ended on good terms, right? Diego had apologized for that situation, just as Spencer had apologized for eliminating him. Nothing out of the ordinary.
So why did he still feel out of place? They were friends.
Or at least, that’s what he thought.

Weak. Was this what the stupid journal was supposed to do to him? If that was the case he didn't need it.
"Screw this!" Ranma cursed. "This most certainly isn't helping things! Stupid Akane and her lame ideas. She thinks she knows everything. But guys don't write in journals. Guys don't dwell on their feelings. Guys don't cry…"
Ranma was fine. Absolutely... positively... fine...
