Summary
The night of the battle with the Titan, Karrin Murphy made a choice, to stand by the side of the people of her city and the man that she loved. She paid the highest price for it. In the aftermath, though, she was given an opportunity for a new life. Her first instinct was to go back to Harry and her city, but the circumstances that developed in her absence revived some doubt and insecurities in her that are making her question things. What choices will she make now?
A few years back, Jared Kincaid also made a choice, to keep his word to Harry and repay his favor. It had a cost for him too. Now, a bit lost after all that, he's heard about what happened with Karrin and that has stirred something in him that maybe he's finally ready to acknowledge. Where would that lead him?
And Harry, he has a few choices to make too. After everything that happened that night of the battle, a potential marriage in the works and the knowledge that Karrin might still be out there, somewhere, what will he do about all that?
