A child of Earth felt their heart break at the realization that their fellow humans (as a generalized whole) were too self-absorbed to truly care for our planet and each other properly. So, they planned, studied & struggled, trained in secret, and plotted to leave in one way or another. They collected the books they found most helpful and scavenged materials they needed, for they were not born of wealth. This lasted for years…
There will be flashbacks to explain how the original character ended up in the Pegasus Galaxy.
