Okay, hear me out. This approach to the K/S dynamic is uncommon nowadays: there's no angst, no worry about unrequited love, they just fall in love and accept it and go through all the struggles together - AND BONES IS THERE TOO. I love how much attention Bones gets. Doesn't mean there's no conflict, it's just different. Very very romantic and sweet and full of PAIN.
The sexy parts are pretty good if you can tune out the badly-aged language choices in some places (m*nhood. oh boy.) and lots of interesting telepathy and bond action.
WARNINGS: Lots and lots of depictions of injuries, blood, medical stuff. Horrible, if brief, T'Pring slander...as always. And I'm not speaking from experience, but many things relating to disability here can be offensive.
