Summary
It's been a few months since Columbina Hyposelenea and her friends graduated from school and went their own ways. All of her friends graduated with useful degrees and became well-adjusted members of society, and Columbina has become afraid of people and very familiar with her small apartment, afraid of even the most basic social interaction and disgusted with every aspect of herself. She is forced to face what her reality has become after her friends organize a get together to see each other for first time in months.

Sandrone had, in all her years of service to Her Majesty the Tsaritsa, always seen her own subordinates as mostly quite incompetent. It could not be helped, truly— people, when compared to her perfect, beautiful machines, were simply less.
They would rest, and hurt, and go as far as show emotions that could impede their work.
That is why one could imagine the shock that coursed through Sandrone’s whole being, when a platoon of simple minded, flesh made fools, brought back an angel to the Zapolyarny Palace.
