Summary
The Armed Detective Agency doesn’t really have a dress code, though Dazai-san is one of the detectives who follows the implied business-casual rule. Atsushi notes absentmindedly that today he’s wearing brown slacks, and a blue V-necked sweater over a white turtleneck. The beige coat Akutagawa’s eyes linger on every time Atsushi asks him how he’s doing at the Port Mafia is tucked into his elbow, perfectly folded.
Which is all to say it's another sunny, routine day in the office, where everyone is dressed as usual and acting like usual.
Until it's not.

Summary
When Dazai failed to show up for work, it did not seem unusual at first. His absences were common enough that most of the Agency brushed it off. But Ranpo noticed. With uncharacteristic seriousness, he told Kunikida to go check on him.
That alone was enough to make Kunikida uneasy.
Reluctantly, and with a growing sense of dread, Kunikida went to Dazai’s apartment. He tried to convince himself it was nothing, just another one of Dazai’s irresponsible disappearances. Yet the silence that greeted him at the door felt wrong. After receiving no answer, he forced his way inside.
What he found waiting for him was something he had never prepared himself to see.

Summary
Dazai comes from a land that no one has information on, the Port Kingdom. It's when he's sent to the Agency's Kingdom to contribute to the Prince's ceremony for his twentieth birthday that he meets Kunikida. Dazai's only rule is to not mess up for the sake of both Kingdoms and for him and Kunikida's relationship.

As a peace offering, we offer our very own painter of royalty. He will be accompanied by two residents of his choosing to travel across the regional divide to carry out his task. Afterwards, He will return. During him and his company’s residence, they will be under agreement to not cause trouble. This agreement has been discussed, however not executed as we wait for your response currently.
