Summary
Makino raises her little sister alone. She works at Partys’ Bar every night and teaches at Dadan’s House every morning. In Foosha Village, only four children remain, and most dream of leaving.
“Don’t worry, Makino. I’ll stay with you,” her sister promises.
She keeps that promise—except when she sneezes and vanishes.
Makino has grown used to her sister’s frequent disappearances. All that matters is she comes home to Foosha safe and sound.
And she does, all the time.
