Summary
“Hey Roz…” He sounds a little off. “Were you uh… thinking of doing the captain hospital visit thing before we leave?” He definitely sounds off. Unsure maybe.
“Yes. I um, I think it would be good. Good. For PR, if that is alright with you, and with Hollander’s family? Is he…?” He can’t find the words to end the sentence.
LeClaire huffs out a breath that makes the line crackle. “Okay yeah that’s good. Fine with me and… Well, Yuna Hollander called me at the crack of dawn, I don’t even know how she got my number, but she asked specifically for you to drop by, as soon as you can be ready.”Shane Hollander and Ilya Rozanov never hooked up before their rookie season. They've never hooked up at all, the lingering attraction going ignored by both, until Shane's dramatic injury in 2017 changes everything.

Summary
He’s going to die, he’s suddenly very sure of it. They are all about to die and Shane can only think about one person. He thinks of his parents, obviously, but they know he loves them. There’s one person who doesn’t know how much they mean to Shane, that has haunted most of his waking thoughts for years, and he only has maybe a minute to change that. He opens his email draft, types out the only things he really, truly wants to say, and hits send just before the cabin crew start yelling “Heads down, stay down!” Shane doesn’t even take one last look at his team. He gets into the brace position and waits for it to be all over.
Post tuna melt and pre-All Stars, Shane's plane is going down, and he has to tell Ilya how he really feels before it's too late.

Summary
“I think maybe we did not meet for first time in Saskatchewan.” He answers finally.
“What? No, we definitely did. I wouldn’t forget that. Did you hit your head at practice?”
Ilya can’t believe he once went nearly a decade without crying. The dam is so thoroughly busted now that it only takes a stiff breeze to blow it back open. He’s far closer to it now than he would like. “No. I think also maybe you did get to meet my Mama.”
“Ilya…What are you talking about?”
Ilya loves spending time with Shane's parents, and he's looking forward to dinner and an evening of looking at Shane's baby pictures, however they are going to bring back memories for more than just the Hollanders.

Summary
Shane spends an evening alone at Ilya's house while Ilya is at a team birthday celebration. Much alcohol is consumed.
Set at an undetermined point between HR and TLG.
This very gently pokes at the issue of consent when one party is intoxicated, but this is our boys and nothing bad happens, if this is a topic that could be triggering it might be best to skip this one though <3

Summary
Shrugging one shoulder far more casually than he possibly feels, Ilya says, “I like both. Is secret, okay?”
“Okay,” Hollander says, voice cracking.
He doesn’t say anything else. The air’s so heavy around them that it feels like being in the middle of a scrum, the weight and heat of all those bodies pressing down on you. Danger always feels like hockey; it’s the most dangerous thing Ilya knows, except for this. Everything dangerous in his life involves men’s bodies and just how close he can get to them. Closer than he probably should.
A year after mysteriously dropping out of the 2009 draft, Shane Hollander is signed by the Boston Raiders, right behind Ilya Rozanov. Having the two biggest stars in the league on the same line is great for Boston — but playing alongside their worst rival was never exactly in Shane or Ilya's plans. Especially not when staying away from each other starts to feel just as impossible as getting along.
