  Summary

For eight agonizing months, Shadow has been held captive by Black Doom, subjected to cruel experiments that have left him shattered in ways no one could imagine. When his friends finally find him, the Shadow they knew is barely recognizable—broken, haunted, and struggling to find his footing.

Determined to help him heal, they band together, offering the love and patience he’s always deserved but never believed he could have. Slowly, they remind him that he’s more than the sum of his scars—that he’s family, not just an experiment.

Through it all, Sonic is by his side, a steady presence and an unshakable anchor in the storm. No matter how far Shadow falls, Sonic is there to catch him, proving that even in the darkest moments, hope and connection can light the way forward.
