Summary
A decade before, when Arlecchino is still just Peruere, she is caught in a cruel ploy of a long-lost God, marking the first rise of conflict threatening to change her forever.
-
While on the mission to find the Hydro Archon, Peruere stumbles upon Furina, heavily injured. Peruere brings her to Sleza, a village in Snezhnaya, and uses her cursed powers to save her. But the cursed powers of Lord Perinheri, having been long lost ever since the war 500 years ago, bring more problems to Furina than good.
Her powers are sought after by the Tsaritsa, but Clervie remains by Peruere’s side, unrelenting in the pursuit to destroy Crucabena and the Tsaritsa’s forces together. But curiously, it is an unlikely ally who keeps her safe from anyone hunting Peruere for her strange abilities, unbeknownst to everyone. -

Summary
Arlecchino has a truly odd and scary dream and Furina is there to comfort her.
--
Arlecchino does not dream.
Ever. Pictures and sounds, screams and cries, love and hatred, nothing translates itself into fantastical pictures that stir her sleep with color and grotesque stories. Distant and cold are her nights, as is Arlecchino herself, and equally empty in content. Arlecchino has learned to compare her inner workings with fire: albeit it crackles in evil laughter, swishes agile and elegantly, and feasts with great hunger and destructive strategy, it is what it is: fire. Simply a means to an end, the death of some and the life of others. The protection of the cold, and the Ignis Purgatorius.
Why would fire dream?

Summary
Arlecchino sits at the hearth, recalling an old childhood story about the first time she ever met the Tsaritsa, to Lynette. A memory that deeply hurts her but is also one of the only good ones.
--
“Take a seat, my child,” she chimed, a small smile on her lips. Arlecchino flopped herself on the chair.
“You sought me out, dear. What is the matter?”
Arlecchino limply stared at her fingers, kneading them. Pale and stiff, always cold.
Arlecchino could have asked a million questions. Could have requested a million things. *Why is Father so cruel to us, can you tell her to stop? Can we all have an equal amount of food? Can we always have something to drink when needed? Why was I punished for protecting a small girl cornered by three men?*
“…I wanted to hear a story. Can you tell me about your life as a Tsaritsa?”
