Summary
Rodney McKay is an unbonded sentinel working at the SGC. John is an unbonded guide brought in to help him, but nothing is as straightforward as expected.
"How is Sheppard?"
"Still feral. Still won't let anyone else near McKay. Last I heard, he'd barricaded the door and turned an IV pole into a spear."

"I gotta ask you…what exactly did I say? When…" he can't make himself utter the last bit, can't find the words. When I was hallucinating? When I thought you were the last man I loved who I really shouldn't have loved? "You know," he tacks on, unable to meet Teyla's eyes.

Summary
John looked around the jet and eye-rolled.
"It's a bit much, isn't it?" Rodney said unhappily.
He knew John hated being in any plane he wasn't flying. Not that he'd be doing that for a while.
"Still, there's champagne…" Rodney waved at the uncorked bottle sitting on ice.
"Can't," John said, pointing at the shoulder that had recently undergone keyhole surgery after Michael left him dangling off a building, and then the Sekkari caused him to break a fall from a cliff-top one-handed. "Meds".
