Summary
There is a threat in the world of Prythian. The magic has been slowly stripped from the fabric of their reality, leaving everyone vulnerable. Azriel has spent months trying to find the source of the problem, and his efforts have so far gotten him nowhere. -- That is, until a curious blue box appears at the most pivotal moment and Azriel meets the Priestess, a Valkyrie of Time here to save, not only Prythian, but life and magic everywhere across the Universe.
Side note: This is a fun mix of ACOTAR and Doctor Who lore. Some things (meaning many things) will be twisted to fit this alternate universe. You do not need to be super familiar! There are references that Doctor Who fans will enjoy, but I did try to use very familiar aspects of the show and give explanations of those mentions. Otherwise I make a lot of ACOTAR, Crescent City, and Earth references and little Easter eggs from my other fics 🤭

“It was as if the light was both held by the darkness and responsible for it. As if without the other, neither would exist. It was a perfect balance. It was harmony. Inevitable as breathing. As a heartbeat. As a perfect note.”
A thrilling exercise in trust with the Shadowsinger sets Gwyneth Berdara on a venture of self discovery. Balancing the truth of her deep connection with Azriel, her grief over her sister’s death, and the questions still yet unanswered about her lineage, Gwyn puts faith in herself to finally embrace who and what she is.
Explore dynamic Lightsinger/Shadowsinger lore, enjoy tantalizing chemistry, and meet versions of characters you may not ever have expected. A story of trust, magic, passion, sisterhood and love.

Summary
Taking a fortifying breath, Gwyn decides just out with it. She’s never been the type to beat around the bush or shy away from things, so she won’t start now. She meets his expectant gaze.
“Azriel, you know my history.” His eyebrow quirks slightly.
“Yes…”
“And you’ve been training me now for a long time.” He nods, encouraging her to continue.
“I trust you.” His eyebrows raise and he swallows.
“That’s good, Gwyn.” His voice is soft. His eyes jump between each of hers, and his shadows vibrate anxiously, not used to be being a step behind.
“I’ve decided that I’m ready to learn about the ways of intimacy. And I want you to be the one to teach me.”
+++
Gwyn feels safe with Azriel in a way she hasn't experienced since that horrible night in Sangravah and she realizes that he may be the only male that she'll ever be comfortable being intimate with, so she decides to ask him to train her in a new arena... if you know what I mean.

Summary
Gwyn Berdara ached for touch. Though the warm hugs and closeness of her fellow Valkyrie soothed a desire for sisterly affection that she had missed in her soul, Gwyn felt the stirring of want for something more.
Except she only wanted that with one male alone, and she was nothing, no one, while he was the Spymaster of the Night Court. He could literally have anyone he wished, and she was sure it could never be her.
The one piece of Azriel that Gwyn never second-guessed were his shadows, who were drawn to her, comforted her, adored her. They seek her out without their master, becoming increasingly bold around her. And Gwyn is finding out that she might like it.
(This story is set two years after the events of ACOSF.)
