"What's so wrong about him leaving?" Maekar asked to himself. The question came out with more bitterness and poison than intended. Aerys finally looked up fully from his book. He wore a slight smirk.
"Careful brother we can't ever speak ill of the sickly prince," Aerys taunted before going back to his reading.
Or: Maekar is the forgotten fourth son of the Targaryens and Baelor is the golden child who's been sick since childhood and has finally been healed as an adult. After an incident Maekar now has to move in with his eldest brother who he despises. Baelor simply wants his baby brother's attention after all these years and maybe something more.
