John is wasted. The world rocks and spins around him, a dizzying mess, the cloying taste of whiskey and one or two gin and tonics at the back of his tongue, a wonderful burn in his throat.
He stumbles through the house - not a home, not quite, but close enough - dragging a hand against the wall, appreciating the pattern of the wallpaper until it makes his head spin too much, and then he looks down at the wooden floor. Ah. He’s lost a sock, at some point along the way - that’s fine, he’ll… find it. At some point. Not now.

John knows he’s made a mistake even before he pulls away and sees the look on the man’s face.
Reginald - Crane looks like a deer in headlights, frozen stiff under his touch, and he hurriedly unfurls his hands which were still clutching the front of his shirt far too tightly. John feels his throat go dry as he stares at the wrinkles he’d left on his clothes, trying desperately to look anywhere but into his eyes.

Agent Phoenix was in a bit of a pickle.
…well, that was quite an understatement, to tell the truth. They currently find themself tied to a chair in a room left almost entirely dark, except for the absurdly bright spotlight trained on them from above, which really isn’t helping with the persistent sharp ache in their temples and behind their eye.

The Agent… hurts.
Their vision blurs when they force their eyes open, their side burns, and thinking is… difficult.It takes them a moment to realize the static in their ear isn’t just inside their head.
Then the rest of their situation comes flooding back in, and they feel their heart skip a few beats as adrenaline and a brief spike of absolute terror freezes their blood in their veins.The air smells of smoke and chemicals and it sears the back of their throat - but that’s not the imminent threat right now.
No, that honour goes to the Zoraxis operative who’d just lodged a bullet in their side.-
Agent Phoenix is many things. But, despite what Zoraxis seems to think (though they deny it), they are not immortal. All it would take for the evil organisation to finally be free from the insufferable thorn in their side is one person getting lucky.
Their Handler is very, very aware of that fact.

"Excuse me, Ma'am?" Leonard asked and Christine resisted the urge to aww at the sheer adorable nature of little McCoy.
"Yes, Dear?"
"Last thing I remember I was with my mama back on the farm so... Am I dreamin'?"
"You're not dreaming, but we're trying to find out just what's happened."
"Thank you." Spock said earnestly.
"There ya go!" Jim piped up, giving Spock a thumbs up. "It's not that hard talkin' once you get used to it!"
Spock blushed and nodded in thanks as McCoy withdrew his hand and left him able to repress his emotions again.
"Well would you look at that." Christine said, looking at her scanner with almost disbelief. She then turned the findings to Uhura who nodded, knowing she'd been right from the first second she'd laid eyes on them. Captain Kirk, Doctor McCoy and Mister Spock had, in fact, been de-aged.

Enterprise is safe to fly another day. All thanks to Captain James T. Kirk's sacrifice. He's made peace with his death, even though it breaks his heart one final time to see the hurt in Spock's eyes. Still, the last thing he gets to see is the face of one of his dearest friends... until his eyes snap back open. Not in a hospital. In a shuttle as it lands at the Academy.
“Once you exit the shuttle you are free to return to your dorms. Those of you who are new, you’ll follow me to registration and physicals,” a vaguely familiar-looking officer says, and Jim’s heart stops in his chest. Surprising, considering it shouldn’t be beating at all.
