The southern raiders mission didn't go exactly as Katara had planned.
In fact, if someone asked her, it went better.
She followed her instincts, she took her revenge.
She knew she had broken something inside of her that would never go back to how it was. She knew she wasn't the same after it.
And she knew, even if the entire world turned their back on her, she wouldn't be alone. She had at least one person who understood. One person that made her free. One person who judged her even less than she did herself.
Because apparently, despite the clarity of her mind, the night kept playing tricks on her — her nightmares showing her aftermaths that hadn't happened, yet could have.
She wasn't sorry. But, perhaps, she was going crazy.
