Summary
All Shinichi's life, everyone told him he was going to be an alpha. So when his childhood friend, who he's secretly in love with, Kuroba Kaito presents as an alpha, he knows it would be futile to confess. Just when he's ready to give up on his feelings, he surprises everyone by presenting as an omega. Instead of feeling happy that he might actually have a chance after all, he wrestles with feelings of doubt and insecurity that he might be too alpha-like for Kaito to want him, causing him to avoid his friend to hide his newly developed status as an omega. He knows he can't avoid his friend forever, but he just wants a little bit of time to sort out his feelings. Before he can talk with Kaito, he first goes to Tropical Land with Ran to celebrate her tournament win, where he follows a suspicious pair of men in black.

The blonde frowns, glancing down at Pochita with the most confused expression Aki has ever seen in a human being; his face basically a question mark. He looks back at Aki, motionless, probably wondering if he's heard this madman right.
Alternatively: Aki finds a struggling young man with an eyepatch, who seems to be friends with the little devil Pochita.
He takes them both in.
