“Beautiful,” In the back sat a couple of hospital rooms, partially quiet and relatively vacant besides him and one other unidentifiable being four doors down. “That was beautiful.” Hendrick couldn’t contain himself, shoes subtly squeaking with each step closer.
“God, I watched you on the camera. It was horrible to see my favorite asset fall like that. I would scold you for being so careless to the reagents but…” He finally reached the bed, unsure of the best place to rest pale hands while the officer blearily peeked up at him. “It was simply marvelous for both parties. Coyle coughed on a laugh, a tube of oxygen in his nose that Hendrick was sure would take pressure off of his horrific smokers lungs. “Ain’t you a charmer. Be a doll and give me a smoke.”
