[[SPOILERS FOR PEOPLE WHO HAVE NOT PLAYED THE ENTIRETY OF OMORI! This takes place after the Good Ending, but twisted to my AU :)]]
It’s been two years since Sunny re-entered society, didn’t move from Faraway Town (yay!) and is back into school! But now, it’s senior year, and prom is…tonight?! Bazinga!
Sunny didn’t want to go, since he feels overwhelmed at the mere thought of attending a loud, populated dance like that. He told himself he wasn’t going, but…Kel said he was. Not saying that Sunny’s only going for Kel, but…he is.
Kel wants to go with Sunny. Like, BAD. But how can he ask for that when he hasn’t even told Sunny his feelings? They’ve been friends for eleven years. They’re gonna stay friends, no matter how much he pines for Sunny…right?
Kel goes in spite of his anxieties, even though he doesn’t ask Sunny. He instead tries to find Sunny at prom.
And if he doesn’t?…Plan B, he eats a ton of the food provided and goes home with no date in his arms.
