Summary
Yuichirou and Muichirou Tokitou were twins. Ever since they were born, they had been together. It was something that always remained the same, even after their parent’s death, despite how strained their relationship became.
So when that demon attacked, though protecting the other was the first thing on both of their minds, their second priority was staying together. Holding each other’s hands, both at death’s door, they wished just for that, that they would not be separated. Well, none of them would had ever imagined that fate would take that literally.

In other words, the Tokitou brothers both survive the demon attack on their home, but find themselves forced into sharing a body. Now they need to find a way to reverse it, all the while figuring out just what exactly is wrong with them and what made them like that.

Summary
In a different timeline, Makomo became the water Hashira, this won't make Giyuu or Sabito return to life, but at least she can honor their memories. In another timeline Sabito spared the demon girl after witnessing the bravery of her older brother, he sees a little of his younger self in him, at least he hopes the boy can protect his sister, unlike him, who couldn't save Giyuu during the final selection. Giyuu doesn't know what is happening; one moment he's slicing Lower Five's neck, another moment he faces two slayers who hold an uncanny resemblance to his late friends.

Instead, after attempting to flee his own wedding by climbing the garden walls, Giyuu accidentally met the king himself before the ceremony even began, leading to a marriage built on political obligation, endless arguments, accidental affection, shameless kissing whenever difficult questions arose, chaotic royal families, and two emotionally clueless men slowly falling hopelessly in love while pretending none of it meant anything.
