Amity is facing the greatest challenge of her life and afterlife. When alive, she always had someone with her, someone to help, to rely on. But now her soul must survive a barrage of treacherous trials and navigate a near impossible labyrinth of demons, deities, and unholy obstacles completely alone. Summary
He follows the path inside and up the stairs—a path that has grown all too familiar to him now.
He passes by the photos hanging on the walls and briefly frowns.
These mortals were kind to him, but they could never truly understand him. They didn’t know what it meant to grow up. Not really.
Not for a child of the stars.
Mortals would all simply grow taller, maybe have a bit of a different voice and more responsibilities.
But they weren’t safe around him if he was beginning to grow.
Especially not King.
—
5 times The Collector left and 1 time they stayed; an introspective fic about The Collector and what growing up means to a god versus a mortal.

Summary
To Hunter, the concept of celebrating his birthday is revolting.
Only Camila and his therapist can piece together the reason why. In his respective conversations with them about his birthday plans, he can only manage to offer snippets of truth wrapped in soft, padded euphemisms. By the downturn in his therapist’s lip and the clenching of Camila’s hands into fists by her sides, he can take a wild guess and say that they can understand the words he’s not saying.
His friends, on the other hand, are a different story.
Or: Hunter and the mortifying ordeal of being known.
