“You didn’t come home last night,” Athena points out, sipping at what appears to be coffee as Buck makes his way out onto the balcony. “I take it things went well?”
Buck winces, taking a seat opposite her at the table. “So… I might have chickened out on the whole ‘telling Eddie I’m in love with him’ thing.”
“Buck…”
“I know, I know,” he mumbles, burying his face in his hands.
“And here I was thinking you’d spent the night in his bed when you weren’t home by eleven.”
Buck slowly lifts his head. “Well…”
Athena snorts. “You’re kidding.”
“Friends can share a bed,” Buck says in an attempt to justify the situation. “Eddie and I shared a bed in quarantine, it’s not weird.”
